　　说到联合国大家会想起什么?庄严肃穆的国际会场?各国博弈的政治舞台??总之三个字：高大上!如今，联合国秘书长快要换届了，候选人的公开面试正在进行中。这样的顶级面试可是第一次!

　　联合国现任秘书长潘基文将于今年12月31日结束任期，下任联合国秘书长将于2017年1月1日上任，任期5年。竞争下任联合国秘书长的8位候选人，于当地时间4月12日开始在联大面向全体会员国阐述自己的主张并回答问题。这是联合国秘书长候选人历史上首次接受全体会员国“面试”。经各自国家推荐、公开角逐这一职位的8名候选人4男4女，均具有相当资历。

　　The United Nations will for the first time in history select a new Secretary-General with candidates' campaigns and open public discussions. The election is due to be held this year to select the ninth Secretary-General of the UN to succeed Ban Ki-moon, whose term will conclude on Dec. 31, 2016. Eight official candidates nominated by their own countries will compete for the position, including four men and four women. The general public can ask questions through civil societymembers and social media.
